Accessibility Statement

Last updated: July 27, 2026

HABAYTTA believes the way home should be open to everyone. We work to make this website accessible to people with disabilities, in accordance with the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Law, 5758-1998, the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Regulations (Service Accessibility Adjustments), 5773-2013, and Israeli Standard (IS) 5568, which adopts the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA.

What we’ve done

  • The site is built with semantic HTML and landmark regions, so screen readers can navigate its structure.
  • All functionality is operable with a keyboard alone.
  • Meaningful images carry text alternatives; decorative images are hidden from assistive technology.
  • Text colors are chosen for readable contrast against their backgrounds.
  • Motion and scroll animations are disabled automatically for visitors whose devices request reduced motion.
  • The layout is responsive and supports browser zoom and text resizing.
  • There are no time limits, auto-playing media, or flashing content.

Known limitations

The site uses decorative scroll-driven transitions as part of its design. These are suppressed when your system’s “reduce motion” setting is on. If you encounter any content or feature that is difficult to use, we genuinely want to know.
