Privacy Policy

HABAYTTA (“we”, “us”) operates this website from Herzliya Pituach, Israel. We take privacy seriously — ours is a business built on discretion. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this site, why, and the rights you have over it. It is written to comply with Israel’s Protection of Privacy Law, 5741-1981 (including Amendment 13), and — for visitors from the EU, UK, and other jurisdictions — the principles of the GDPR.

What we collect

The only personal information this site collects is what you choose to submit through one of its two forms:

• The membership form on the home page: your name, email address, phone number, and anything you write in the optional message field.
• The conversation form on our “Buying in Israel” page: your name, email address, where you are in your purchase (one choice from a short list), and, only if you give it, a phone or WhatsApp number.

Each form asks for your consent before it can be sent. What you submit is emailed to us and read by a person. The only passive collection is the measurement described below.

Notice under Section 11 of the Protection of Privacy Law: you are under no legal obligation to provide this information — providing it is voluntary and depends on your consent. We request it for one purpose: to contact you personally and assess how we can serve you. It will be held by HABAYTTA for that purpose.

Site measurement

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand, in aggregate, how visitors use this site — which pages are read and how people arrive. When active, it sets cookies (named _ga and _ga_*) to distinguish returning browsers, and Google processes this measurement data on our behalf under its privacy policy. Google Analytics 4 does not log or store full IP addresses.

Our Google Analytics property is connected to Google Ads. We use that connection for one thing: to measure whether a visit that started from one of our Google search advertisements led to a request through one of the forms above. If you arrive from such an advertisement, the click identifier that Google adds to the link may be recorded by Google Analytics for that purpose. The events we share with Google Ads record that a form was submitted and, for the conversation form, which purchase stage was chosen — never your name, email address, or phone number. We do not use this connection to build audiences for remarketing or personalised advertising.

Your cookie choice

If you visit from the United Kingdom, the European Economic Area, Switzerland, or Quebec, measurement and advertising storage is off by default. We show a short notice with two equal choices: Allow or Decline. Until you choose Allow, Google Analytics sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser; it receives only cookieless information that carries no identifier for your browser and is used by Google for aggregate estimates. If you choose Decline, that is how it stays, and any measurement cookies already present are removed.

Elsewhere, measurement runs by default, and you can block these cookies in your browser settings without affecting anything on this site.

Wherever you are, you can make or change your choice at any time here: Manage cookie choices. So that we do not ask you again on every page, your choice is kept in your browser’s local storage for up to twelve months. It contains only the word “granted” or “denied” and the time you chose; it is never sent to us.

What we deliberately don’t do

• No advertising networks, social-media pixels, or remarketing tags. Google’s measurement described above is the only third-party service on this site.
• No sharing of your data with advertisers, and no selling it — ever.
• No third-party embeds that watch you browse.

Beyond the measurement cookies and the cookie choice above, the site stores a single anonymous flag in your browser’s session storage so the welcome screen appears only once per visit. It contains no personal data, is never transmitted to us, and disappears when you close the tab.

How we use your information

Information you submit is used to respond to you, hold the private conversation you requested, and provide our advisory and concierge services. We may share it only with service providers who assist our operations under confidentiality obligations, or where disclosure is required by law. We do not use it for automated decision-making.

Security and retention

We apply information-security measures appropriate to the data we hold, in line with the Protection of Privacy Regulations (Data Security), 5777-2017. We retain personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above or as the law requires, and then delete it.

Your rights

Under the Protection of Privacy Law you may review the information we hold about you (Section 13) and request that inaccurate information be corrected or deleted (Section 14). If you are in the EU or UK, you additionally have the GDPR rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, and data portability, and the right to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority. Israel benefits from an EU adequacy decision, and your data is processed in Israel.

Changes

If we ever change what this site collects or how we use it, we will update this policy and its date before the change takes effect. This policy is governed by the laws of the State of Israel.
